Year-End Agent Rankings Released— 1.3 Million Agents Claim the #1 Spot
ANAHEIM, Ca. – Today, MICASA Real Estate Research, in conjunction with The Daily Escrow, released their 100th annual year-end #1 Agent rankings. This year’s results ranked 1.3 million agents at number one—up 6% from 2017, where only 1.22 million agents took the top spot.
“The real estate agents ranked number one in the #1 Agent rankings have proven they have the knowledge, skills, and perseverance to claim themselves the number one agent in their marketplace,” said Milo Casa, president of MICASA Real Estate Research. “The average number one agent in our 2017 rankings sold twelve houses in 2018. These results show us the tremendous marketing power of being ranked number one.”
Marketing yourself as the number one agent in your marketplace is the most valuable weapon a real estate agent has in their arsenal, which is why MICASA takes the selection process so seriously. Agents who wish to be considered for the #1 Agent rankings must complete a strenuous online survey, which includes inputting their first and last name, the state they are licensed in, and answering “yes or no” to the question— “Would you like to call yourself the number one agent in your marketplace?”
“We hold accuracy above all else,” Casa explained. “If we lose accuracy, we lose the power of the rankings; plain and simple.”
“Not just anybody can be ranked number one. First and foremost, you must be a real estate agent.”
